One day, I am running in the hallway. I turn the corner fast. I bump into Zee. Zee's owl toy falls to the floor.
I am running. I turn fast. Bump! Zee falls down.
Zee is sitting on the floor. She looks surprised. It is okay to feel unsure right now. I take a breath. Then I walk back to Zee.
Zee is on the floor. It is okay to feel unsure. I breathe. I walk back to Zee.
I kneel down next to Zee. I ask if she is okay. I raise my hand for the teacher. I can try to wait with Zee.

The teacher comes to help us. I say sorry to Zee. I wait while Zee feels better. The teacher says I was kind to stop.
Sammy: "I am sorry, Zee."
Teacher: "Sammy, that was kind to stay and help."
The teacher comes. I say sorry to Zee. I wait while Zee feels better. The teacher smiles.
Saying sorry can feel hard sometimes. I stopped, turned, and asked for help. That is something brave. I feel proud of what I did.
