I Know My Morning Path
I know my bedroom really well. My backpack, my clothes, and my shoes all have a place. Every morning, I move from one room to the next. I have done this many times before.

I know my room. I know where my things are. I do this every morning.
Some mornings have many changes all at once. My body is tired and my bed feels warm. Leaving my cozy bed can feel hard. It is okay to feel this way sometimes.

My adult helps me see the morning steps. Each step is just one small change. When one step feels hard, I can breathe slowly. One breath helps my body feel calm again.

I moved through every morning step. Now I am at school. Each morning I do this, it gets a little easier. I am learning to move through changes every day.
I did every step. I am at school. Mornings get easier.
Take a moment. You can take some slow, deep breaths when you feel ready.
